Video projection
Pongée is out of smooth raw silk produced in Japan.
The color-matching fabrics, whose actual dimension can only be estimated, are the basic reference of this light projection. The homogeneous recurrent motion of an indeterminate rhythm generates a great variety of abstract shapes. Overlapping of the material and endless combinations of fluent movements signify repetition and unique modulation at the very moment.
To underline the apparent authenticity of this process the video projection is beamed frameless all over the wall. At this point the wall surface itself with its concrete texture dismaterializes, almost vanishes, taking on a new sensuous quality.
